What We Do

Our goal is always to support the needs of our local community and bring awareness to the amazing organizations who are dedicated to improving lives. If you would like to recommend an organization for our 2027 season, please reach out to us via email.

We take pride in choosing our organization each year

AFH 2026 is supporting The Dash Gordon Foundation!

The Dash Gordon Foundation is on a mission to energize and raise awareness for the Special Needs, Disabled and At-Risk Communities! Fueled by the incredible gifts God has bestowed upon us, we are inspired by the joy, smiles, and heartfelt moments we witness from the amazing individuals we support. Our foundation provides a safe and inclusive space for individuals to share their stories, connect with others, and access resources to thrive. We are dedicated to making a difference and creating a brighter future for the communities we serve.

For more information on the organization and to volunteer or donate to the cause, visit their website at https://www.thedashgordonfoundation.org/

In 2025, San Jacinto College South Campus hosted two days of master classes for the community and two evening concerts, plus a 10-day film festival- showcasing some of the finest dance artistry that the world has to offer! After completing our 10th annual event we gifted over $3,800 to Pour Into Houston! This would not have been possible without the support of our San Jacinto College administration, the dance community, and our donors.
